ORIGINAL STORY: A crash on the Cuesta Grade was slowing southbound Highway 101 traffic Friday afternoon.
It happened shortly after 2 p.m. about halfway down the grade when a vehicle spun out and hit the guardrail, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic was said to be coming to a stop around 2:15 p.m. and two of the three southbound lanes were reportedly blocked.
An ambulance was requested at the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
