Crews are working to remove a large Eucalyptus tree from Downtown San Luis Obispo.
Bunyon Bros. Tree Service says they were hired for the work happening along Marsh Street near the Marsh Street Bridge.
The tree is reportedly dead on top and due to its size, requires the use of a 125-foot manlift and 127-foot crane.
Crews expect to remain on scene throughout most of the day Thursday.
One lane is closed in the area.
City arborists were not immediately available for comment on the project.
