Crews are turning drivers around as they respond to a vehicle versus telephone pole in Nipomo.
The California Highway Patrol says a vehicle crashed into an AT&T telephone pole which caused the pole to fall and create a roadway hazard on the 1200 block of Tefft St.
The roadway has been blocked off at the Tefft St. and Verbena St. intersection, according to CHP. Both directions are closed in that area.
SLO County Public Works says they have crews in route to assess the site and help with hard road closures. Drivers can expect delays in that area.
It is unknown if there are any injuries.
