Cuesta College is postponing its 2020 Commencement Drive-Thru Ceremony.
The school said this is due to Gov. Newsom's stay-at-home order and guidance from the San Luis Obispo County Health Department.
It was originally scheduled for Dec. 18 and as of now, there is no new date.
“This is a difficult decision, yet our number one priority is the health and safety of our community, students, faculty and staff,” Dr. Mark Sanchez, Assistant Superintendent / Vice President of Student Success and Support Programs, said in an email to student graduates. “Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishments – we will celebrate with you and your families/loved ones soon.”
Virtual celebrations for some support programs will continue as scheduled.
