Deli Delicias and Fresh in Santa Maria is keeping the community's kids fed.
The restaurant is offering free meals for kids in kindergarten to sixth grade for the month of May. The meals include either orange juice or chocolate milk and a small torta.
"We offer all this for all the kids that do not have any food," says Deli Delicias and Fresh owner Humberto Hernandez. Hernandez wanted to make sure those who were having a tough time during the pandemic were still getting fed.
Deli Delicias and Fresh offers the deal Monday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
