Deputies identify suspect involved in home invasion robbery out of rural San Luis Obispo

Police are looking for a San Luis Obispo man believed to be linked to a home invasion robbery.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office has identified 38-year-old Johnny Jesse Roman, Jr. as the suspect in a home invasion robbery reported in rural San Luis Obispo Saturday.

Deputies said the incident happen on the 1700 block of O'Connor Way.

Roman is believed to have entered the home of an elderly female and stole cash and then stole the victim's truck.

The vehicle is reported as a gold 2006 Chevy Silverado with the license plate number of 8Z85747.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Roman.

Deputies warn not to approach Roman or the vehicle if you see either and instead immediately call 911.

Roman was identified by Sheriff's Forensic Specialists and Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit.
