Investigators with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office released new information in a suspicious death investigation out of Nipomo.

Detectives launched a suspicious death investigation on May 27, 2020, when 68-year-old Debra Glenn was found dead in her home on the 100 block of Tefft Street.

On Thursday, nearly nine months after she died, deputies released the cause of death saying it, "has been ruled blunt force trauma, but the manner of death is undetermined."

Investigators say they are still waiting on some test results as well as other evidence findings.

Community members and loved ones have been demanding justice for Glenn's death since the incident happened in May. They held a candlelight vigil outside of her home in December.

Investigators say since this is an active investigation there is limited information that they can provide at this time.
