The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify a possible witness in a homicide case.

On Jan. 24, 2019, Lawrence Albert Bross was found dead inside his home in the 1400 block of Strand Way in Oceano. Sheriff's officials said an autopsy determined the cause of death to be "multiple chop force traumatic injuries."

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Anyone with information related to this investigation is urged to contact the SLO County Sheriff's Detective Division at (805) 781-4500 or Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP.
