Repair work will impact drivers on Highway 1 near Vandenberg Space Force Base overnight.
Detours are expected to be in place at Timber Lane and Mountain View Boulevard during the work from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday.
The work is being done by Space Launch Delta 30 civil engineers.
The base says the Santa Maria gate will remain open.
