Dignity Health California Central Coast Division has awarded more than $350,000 in grant funding to four community non-profits.

At French Hospital Medical Center on Friday, Future Leaders of America, Los Osos Cares Senior Outreach Program, SLO Noor Foundation, and Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara were presented with checks.

"When you get a bunch of like-minded not-for-profits that have a good cause, good mission and shared values for helping others, it doesn't get better than that and when we can afford them some dollars to help them get their good works done, it's a great thing," said Alan Iftiniuk, French Hospital Medical Center President/CEO.

The awards are given to programs that fit into the hospital's priority areas of educational attainment, access to primary care, access to dental health, aging, and chronic disease prevention and management.
