Drivers waiting to take their behind-the-wheel driving tests will be able to schedule theirs starting in February.
The California Department of Motor Vehicles announced on Thursday that all test appointments that were canceled between December 14 and February will automatically be rescheduled.
The DMV canceled these appointments due to COVID-19 concerns.
Safety measures are in place for behind-the-wheel tests:
- Face coverings required
- Health screening survey
- Temperature checks
- Cracked windows for increased circulation
- Seat covers
DMV offices remain open, but customers are encouraged to use its online services.
Nearly all Californians can now renew their driver's license online.
