Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab is wrapping up its campaign Saturday night to raise money for kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Doc Burnstein's in Arroyo Grande will hold an event Saturday night to complete their goal.
Make-A-Wish partnered with Doc Burnstein's to help grant wishes to local children.
The ice cream parlor has a goal of raising enough money to grant five wishes.
As a part of this campaign, Doc Burnstein's partnered with Simon, a local wish kid, to help him make his own ice cream flavor.
Simon created 'Plasma Swirl Crunch,' a mixture of cake batter ice cream, Nerdsä candy and blueberries.
Simon will be at the event Saturday night from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m to support the fundraiser.
An individual wish can cost up to $5000. Last year, Doc Burnstein's raised $20,000 and granted four wishes for children.
Doc Burnstein's is taking individual donations in stores and on their website. They are also donating $0.25 for every scoop of 'Plasma Swirl Crunch' sold.
Make-A-Wish says wishes instill a sense of hope and anticipation during a difficult time for sick children and their loved ones.
