The local non-profit in charge of feeding animals at Lompoc’s La Purisima Mission is asking for the community’s help.
With events at the mission currently halted due to the ongoing pandemic, income for Prelado has stopped.
The group is asking for donations from the community to help feed the sheep, pigs, chickens, two new hoses and other animals that call the mission home.
Prelado says a $10 donation will help provide corn for the chicken coop, a $25 donation will fill the feed bag, a $50 donation will help shear a sheep and a $100 donation can help with vet bills.
