California Blvd. is shut down in downtown San Luis Obispo after live electrical wires came down Tuesday morning.
San Luis Obispo City Fire officials say the downed lines are on California Blvd. between Higuera and Monterey St.
The closure will be in place for one to two hours, according to fire officials. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
