(11:32 a.m.) - A power outage Wednesday was affecting 380 customers in the Wellsona area between San Miguel and Paso Robles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, power lines were down across both the southbound and northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Wellsona Rd.
Someone using heavy equipment apparently hit the lines, causing them to fall.
It happened just after 11 a.m.
Nearby train tracks were also affected.
PG&E is reportedly en route to fix the power lines.
Drivers passing through the area should expect a detour until the lanes are cleared. Southbound traffic is being diverted at San Marcos Rd. and northbound traffic is stopped.
We are working on clearing the lanes as fast as we can. Please, be careful if you will driving through this location. pic.twitter.com/6w4oVWCJlg
