A man was taken into custody following an apparent road rage incident in Orcutt Tuesday morning.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the area of Bradley Road at Clark Avenue just before 8:44 a.m. after receiving reports of a driver with a gun.

A sheriff’s spokesperson says the driver reportedly pulled out the gun, which was determined to be a replica, after the driver behind him honked when the light turned green.

Deputies responded and the sheriff’s office says the man involved was taken into custody.

No other information was immediately available.
