Santa Barbara City Firefighters are on scene of a hazmat situation following a rollover crash Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. near Foothill Rd. and North Ontare area.
Fire officials say a pool service truck crashed, spilling pool chlorine, muriatic acid and other chemicals.
First responder say the driver was injured in the crash. The extent of those injuries are unknown at this time.
Hazmat crews have isolated approximately one block of the surrounded area and are working to keep the chemicals from reaching the nearby creek.
Fire officials say drivers can expect the roads to be closed for multiple hours.
