A Santa Ynez man is facing multiple drug charges after a search warrant was served at a Lompoc hotel this week.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says the warrant was served at the hotel on the 1100 block of North H Street Wednesday in connection with an ongoing investigation.

When sheriff's narcotics detectives contacted Dillon Spoor they say he took what appeared to be a gun from his waistband and threw it onto the seat of a nearby vehicle.

After detaining the 18-year-old, they say the gun was determined to be a replica, but during the search of the room, an unregistered functioning semi-automatic handgun was found.

Officials say Spoor was in possession of cocaine and marijuana for sale and was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on multiple other drug and gun charges.

Another person contacted during the search, a 21-year-old woman from Santa Ynez, had cocaine in her pocket and was cited and released at the scene, officials said.
