Early-morning shooting leads to arrest of felon in Lompoc

A man is facing multiple charges following an early-morning shooting in Lompoc.

Lompoc police say officers responded to reports of the shooting on the 800 block of N. F Street at about 1:15 a.m. Friday.

They say it did appear a shooting took place and while a gun possibly used was located, no victims were found.

Police identified a possible suspect and arrested Juan Fritz, 38.

They say he faces charges of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, negligent discharge of a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and violating probation.

No other information was immediately available.
