The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing many families to celebrate Easter at home, but that didn't stop the Easter Bunny from delivering treats to kids.
The Easter Bunny and the its "Bunny Patrol" drove around Jardine Rd. in Paso Robles Sunday morning in a decked out John Deere vehicle handing out pre-sanitized goodie bags filled with candies to children and families.
The Easter Bunny made sure to practice social distancing by using an extender pole to hand out the treats.
At first, the Easter Bunny thought only a dozen kids would come out, but more than 100 kids joined in on the fun.
The special delivery was a way to make the kids smile during this difficult and abnormal time.
"We've had some hard times, but things are better and the Lord's blessed us. We just want to give it back,"said Keith Bankston, the "Bunny Patrol".
The Easter Bunny also hid two golden eggs in random goodie bags and the lucky kid to receive a golden egg got a coupon for free pizza.
