An explosion rocked a part of Lompoc on Wednesday night.
It happened shortly after 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of W. Central Ave.
Police say the explosion occurred in a driveway next to a bank of mailboxes. The mailboxes and several surrounding buildings were damaged.
Police say no one was hurt.
