The Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast gave out free toys today in San Luis Obispo County.
The event was first come, first serve for any family in need this holiday season.
Those in south county picked up toys from Fairgrove Elementary School in Grover beach.
Families in north county picked up toys from San Miguel Park in San Miguel.
The California Highway Patrol, Caltrans, Walmart, PG&E and other local businesses and agencies sponsored the event.
Families at the event also had a chance to meet Santa Claus and wrap their presents at a gift-wrapping station.
