A fatality has been reported this morning following a traffic collision on Highway 154 near East Camino Cielo in the Goleta Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 4 a.m., a motorcyclist ran into the guard rail and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have called for a hard closure as they continue cleaning up the scene, and eastbound and westbound lanes have been closed.
