As part of its criminal investigation, the FBI is seeking photos and videos related to the fatal Conception boat fire off Santa Cruz Island that killed 34 people.

The FBI, Coast Guard and U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles are participating in the investigation with other agencies. They want to know if the captain and boat owners followed safety requirements.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says authorities are asking people to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. The FBI says callers will initially be prompted to choose among various categories and, for this case, should choose prompt #4 ("FBI case currently highlighted in the news"). Callers will then be asked to choose their preferred language (#1 for English and #2 for Spanish). Finally, callers can choose this case specifically ("Conception Maritime Incident in Santa Barbara, California"), which is also prompt #4.

The public can also submit photos or videos by visiting fbi.gov/boatfire.

Divers resumed searching for the final victim Tuesday as salvage operations to raise the Conception out of the water also restarted.
