Santa Barbara's Old Spanish Days announced the lineup for its live streamed concert series, Fiesta Music and Dance Fridays.

The scheduled acts include:

  • Area 51 - July 3
  • Spencer the Gardener - July 10
  • False Puppet - July 17
  • King Bee - July 24
  • Mezcal Martini - July 31

People can stream the bands on a Smart TV or any internet-connected device for free every Friday in July from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Local dance acts and history segments will perform in between sets.

"I am excited and proud that we are fulfilling our commitment to keeping the Fiesta Spirit alive during this challenging time," said El Presidente Erik Davis. "I’d like to thank the City of Santa Barbara, our dedicated sponsors and community donors for helping us achieve our goal of honoring our rich traditions in a safe way while bringing Fiesta joy to all in this time of uncertainty."

Fiesta Music and Dance Fridays will be streamed here and on the Fiesta Facebook and YouTube pages. It will also be broadcast on community access channels 17 and 71 on TV Santa Barbara. All concerts will be archived.

Old Spanish Days is accepting donations. People can also support the non-profit by purchasing items through their online store.

Old Spanish Days is dedicated to honoring and preserving Santa Barbara’s history, spirit, culture, heritage and traditions. Many of its events will be held online or on television this year to adhere to physical distancing guidelines.
