A Central Coast brewing company is helping local families in need this holiday season.
"Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company" in Santa Maria is holding a clothing and food drive starting this weekend.
Beginning Sat. Nov 21, their goal is to gather as many new or pre-loved jackets, sweaters, blankets and sleeping bags as possible.
This will mark the first year of "Fig family gives back" and they're hoping the community can help make it a success.
All donations will go to the Central Coast Rescue Mission.
"The big push is for Black Friday you know, if people are out shopping if they can buy a new blanket or buy a jacket thats on clearance or something like that just to give back to the community to help someone who is in need," said Bar Manager, Jason Turton.
Donations are being accepted through Dec. 2nd at their location on East Betteravia Road in Santa Maria.
On Black Friday, anyone who comes in to donate will receive a complimentary slice of pizza and a craft beer.
They are also collecting canned good donations.
