ORIGINAL STORY: A vegetation fire broke out in northern San Luis Obispo County Monday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to reports of the fire shortly after 2 p.m. along the 8600 block of San Carlos Road.
The area is to the west of Highway 101 and south of Highway 41.
A CAL FIRE spokesperson told KSBY around 10 acres had burned just before 3 p.m.
