Firefighters were called to a shed fire in rural Arroyo Grande on Thursday morning.
It was reported at about 10:15 a.m. near the end of Deer Canyon Rd.
CAL FIRE crews reported finding smoke and flames coming from the attic area of the structure when they arrived.
Firefighters were mostly able to contain the fire to the shed without major damage to a partially attached residence.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were expected to remain on scene for a couple of hours conducting salvage and overhaul.
