Firefighters responded to a property in northern San Luis Obispo County on Monday morning for a report of a fire.
According to CAL FIRE SLO, the fire involved an outbuilding and a chicken coop.
It happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. off Chimney Rock Road near Adelaida Road.
Firefighters contained the blaze and say most of the chickens have been accounted for.
