Firefighters respond to crude oil spill in Los Alamos

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a crude oil spill in Los Alamos Tuesday morning.

Reports of the oil spill came in at around 5:56 a.m.

Fire officials say approximately 25 barrels of crude oil spilled at the HVI Cat Canyon facility in Los Alamos.

No waterways or environmental habitats were impacted by the spill.

The Oil and Gas Division Captain remained on scene to ensure proper clean-up of the spill.
