The inaugural Taste of the Santa Ynez Valley kicked off Thursday.
The four-day long festival highlights the best of what the area has to offer when it comes to food and wine.
Cooking classes, a wine and cheese seminar, several vineyard and craft beer dinners and other Sideways-themed events are planned throughout the weekend.
"People are gonna experience all the diversity and all that the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer," said Shelby Sim, Visit Santa Ynez Valley President and CEO. "We have six unique and special communities, we have several different wine regions and we're gonna focus on each of those communities and each of our wine regions over this four-day festival."
