The front doors of five new model homes are now open to tour in Arroyo Grande.
The community was invited to the grand opening of Creekstone at the Village, a collection of homes created by Wathen Castanos Homes near the Village of Arroyo Grande.
Members from the South County Chambers of Commerce and city staff cut the ribbon to the homes at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Home designers say the houses are inspired by the area's diverse agricultural history with architectural styles that pay tribute to farming and Spanish beginnings.
The floor plans accommodate three to five bedrooms, two to three baths and 1,765 to 2,730 square feet.
People can choose eight floor plans and tour five model homes with prices starting in the high $700,000.
The homes are located at 203 Sweet Pea Court near East Cherry Avenue.
