The first nonstop flight from San Luis Obispo to San Diego will touch down on Tuesday.
The flights will be offered by Alaska Airlines.
The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is also adding another flight this year. Flights to Portland will begin on June 18.
Contour Airlines began weekly round-trip service to Las Vegas in October of last year.
Travelers can now fly direct from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, Portland, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Meantime, this Friday, Santa Maria Airport is slated to announce the expansion of its air service. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
