Santa Maria police arrested a man from Fontana on suspicion of lewd acts with a minor.
Police say Jason Taylor, 40, contacted an underage girl on the internet and traveled to Santa Maria to meet with her.
Santa Maria police say they worked with the Guadalupe and Fontana police departments, as well as the FBI, to investigate Taylor and make the arrest.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims in the Santa Maria area and they're asking anyone with information that could help with their investigation to contact Santa Maria PD Detective Silver at (805) 928-3781, ext. 1346.
