Bicyclists will make their way from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. The California Coast Classic will make its way through Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties this weekend into next week.
The cyclists began their trip Saturday in Santa Cruz County.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, they will cycle their way through San Luis Obispo County.
Caltrans says drivers can expect delays and should be ready to share the roadways with long-distance bicyclists.
Cyclists will ride through Santa Barbara County Thursday. They will finish their journey in Ventura County.
