Grover Beach Police along with the Five Cities Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Police say the crash happened at around 7:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.
Upon arrival first responders found a vehicle off the road and into a tree engulfed in flames.
Police say before first responders arrived, a bystander rescued the driver from the burning vehicle.
The driver was treated and released. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire.
