UPDATE (3:40 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO says the fire Friday afternoon on Deer Creek Way across from Weeping Willow Way burned two acres and was contained as of 3:40 p.m.
No structures were damaged and aircraft have been released.
Firefighters are expected to remain on scene for another hour to mop up.
No word on the cause of the fire.
ORIGINAL STORY: A grass fire was threatening structures in Paso Robles Friday afternoon.
As of 3 p.m., CAL FIRE SLO estimated the fire to be two acres with the potential to burn five acres on Deer Creek Way across from Weeping Willow Way.
It was reported to be burning at a moderate rate of spread.
No other information was immediately available.
