A local group is showing its support for the Paso Robles Police and Fire departments, especially after Monday's River Fire.
Members of the group say they wanted to unite and pray for the Paso Robles Police Department after recent protests. Then some of them suggested they do it every day.
On Tuesday, the group made a stop at both the police and fire departments.
"This town has been through a lot lately, at least the past three weeks, so you know, to have the community come together and pray for the city and for our first responders and for the families that lost their homes, this is the least we can do but you know, we feel it's a good option right now," said Brandon Stier, Protect Paso founder.
The group has also put together resources, donation boxes and gofundme pages for local families affected by the River Fire.
