The HART cat shelter in Cambria is asking community members to sign up and foster a cat.
Organizers say they have 22 cats in need of temporary homes while staff and volunteers are reduced due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Shelter staff say fostering can help the cats with necessary socialization.
Curbside pick-up is being utilized in keeping with social distancing practices for any foster that comes to pick up a shelter cat.
