Hearst Castle is offering a seasonal tour focusing on focusing on the work done by American architect and engineer Julia Morgan.
Julia Morgan was the first certified female architect in California and the first American woman to head her own architectural office. She was born in 1872 and died in 1957.
Morgan played a big role in some of the designing at the famous Hearst Castle.
Organizers say the tour provides rarely-seen areas of Hearst Castle that highlight her designs, and photographic displays of architectural drawings, family photos, and personal items that reveal the person she was.
Prices for tickets start at $100 for both children and adults.
The guided tour is offered seasonally and not during the summer.
The tour is 2 hours long. To buy tickets, visit this website.
