KSBY is once again teaming up with Si Tenenberg to send care packages to troops serving overseas.
This Thursday, Nov. 7, community members are encouraged to pick up the boxes filled with supplies and take one or more to the post office and pay for the postage.
KSBY will be live with Tenenberg from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the KSBY studio in San Luis Obispo, 1772 Calle Joaquin. Boxes will also be available during that time at KSBY's Santa Maria location, 731 South Lincoln St.
The boxes cost $18.45 each to ship.
Checks made out to USPS in increments of $18.45 can also be dropped off during Thursday's event to help with shipping costs.
