ORIGINAL STORY: Highway 1 is closed in Big Sur due to flooding.
According to Caltrans, northbound Hwy 1 is closed at Ragged Point and southbound Hwy 1 is closed at Point Lobos.
No word on when the highway is expected to reopen.
