UPDATE (1:59 p.m.) - Caltrans reports that all lanes of Highway 46 East have now reopened.

(12:58 p.m.) - Highway 46 East, just east of the Highway 46/41 interchange, is closed to traffic in both directions.
According to Caltrans, a big rig truck entered the center median and became stuck in the mud.
It happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Friday.
The closure is expected to remain in place for at least two hours while crews work to remove the big rig.
