A helicopter was called in to hoist a hiker out of the Los Padres National Forest in Santa Barbara County on Saturday evening.
Rescue crews were called to the area of Hurricane Deck, which is located in the forest south of New Cuyama, shortly before 9 p.m.
Santa Barbara County Fire officials say the hiker is suffering from dehydration.
