The El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) North County turkey trot fundraiser brought in over $30,000.

There were 250 people who ran in the first ever Turkey Trot run/walk fundraiser held at Atascadero Lake Park in the North County on Thanksgiving Day. The proceeds raised from the event will benefit the homeless.

ECHO currently houses a 50 bed overnight warming and overnight facility. 100% of the proceeds of the Turkey Trot Fundraiser will go towards housing and meal programs at ECHO.

The shelter has served 50,000 meals to the needy and helped over 100 people find secure housing in SLO County.
