The right turn lane leading into Lompoc is closed until further notice.
According to Lompoc city officials, the lane is just past Allan Hancock College will be closed until further notice due to a sink hole in the roadway.
Drivers can still enter the city at Wye intersection (HWY 1 and Harris Grade Road), by making a right turn at the traffic signal.
Caltrans has posted "road closure" signs to alert drivers of the hazard.
