Cruisin' Weekend in Atascadero
Friday, August 21 - Saturday, August 22; Downtown Atascadero & Atascadero Lake Park
It's time for Cruisin' Weekend in Atascadero. The celebration kicks off downtown Friday night with Hot El Camino Cruise Nite, continues Saturday with the Mid State Cruizers Car Show at Atascadero Lake Park, and wraps up Saturday night with live music for Dancing in the Streets throughout the downtown area.

SLO Tour de SRAM 2026
Saturday, August 22, 3 p.m.-7 p.m.; 4720 Allene Way, San Luis Obispo
Heads up, cycling enthusiasts! Saturday from 3-7 p.m., join together at the SRAM offices in San Luis Obispo for an evening of fun to benefit World Bicycle Relief. The Tour de SRAM will feature tours of the engineering and prototype facility, a silent auction, live music, as well as tacos and drinks.

Day of Hope Car Show
Saturday, August 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Heritage Square Park, Arroyo Grande
The 2nd annual Day of Hope Car Show will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Square Park in Arroyo Grande. The event showcases custom builds, unique vehicles and classic collections. All proceeds from the event will directly support the Mission Hope Cancer Center in Arroyo Grande, which provides resources and assistance for local cancer patients and their families.

Pismo Arm Drops Vol. IV
Saturday, August 22, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; Oceano Dunes SVRA, Pismo Beach
Pismo Arm Drops is a drag racing competition where competitors race on the sands of the Oceano Dunes. Vehicle day passes or camping reservations booked in advance are required.

Pacific Pride Festival
Saturday, August 22, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Chase Palm Park, Santa Barbara
The Pacific Pride Festival, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and allies, returns to Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event is free, open to all ages, and will feature live music, dance performances, food trucks, a family zone, art, vendors and more.

Taste the Trail
Saturday, August 22, 12-3 p.m.; Zaca Mesa Winery, Los Olivos
Taste the Trail gathers wineries along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail together at Zaca Mesa Winery for an afternoon of wine tasting, delicious bites, and live music. The event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. Guests will receive a souvenir logo glass, a tote bag, and a complimentary charcuterie cup. Purchase tickets ahead of the event for $65.87.

Paso Play in the Garden
Saturday, August 22, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; Uptown Family Park, Paso Robles
Paso Robles Recreation will present another edition of Paso Play in the Garden on Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Uptown Family Park. The free, interactive workshop called Spots & Sprouts will focus on ladybugs. Children can make their own ladybug house, decorate a ladybug rock, play ladybug-themed games and more, all while learning about the life of these garden insects.

The Big West reigning champion Mustangs are celebrating Senior Day before the game, honoring players in their final season, such as 2025 Big West Offensive Player of the Year Annika Smith. The team is coming off a 1-0 loss to No. 1-ranked Stanford.
