Concerts in the Plaza Family Block Party
Friday, August 14, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Mission Plaza, San Luis Obispo
Friday night it is time to celebrate 30 years of the Downtown San Luis Obispo Concerts in the Plaza series at their family block party. Two stages, four bands, vendors, and more will fill Mission Plaza from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The headliner is Brass Mash with opener Holding Pattern.

Central Coast Trading Card Show
Saturday, August 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Santa Maria Fairpark
Saturday head to the Santa Maria Fairpark for the Central Coast Trading Card Show! From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Main Convention Center will house more than 100 tables of collectibles, cards, vendors, and more. Admission is free.

68th Annual St. Anthony Celebration
Saturday, August 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Pismo Beach Plaza
The 68th Annual St. Anthony Celebration takes place on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pismo Beach Plaza. This free celebration honors the cultural contribution of the area's Portuguese descendants. Enjoy the annual traditions that date back to 1956, including a celebratory parade, traditional dishes and festivities.
Swingin’ By the Sea
Saturday, August 15, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Chapman Estate, 1243 Ocean Blvd., Shell Beach
The Chapman Estate Foundation will host its 11th annual Swingin’ By The Sea fundraiser on Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Chapman Estate in Shell Beach. The event will feature live music, auction items, local food and wine, all in support of preserving the historic property as a community gathering place.

Tent City Limits x Tiny Porch Concerts
Friday, August 14, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Atascadero Printery, 6351 Olmeda Ave.
The Atascadero Printery Foundation and Tiny Porch Concerts will host the Tent City Limits x Tiny Porch Concerts summer concert series at the Atascadero Printery on Friday. Gates open at 6 p.m. and music runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with touring bluegrass, folk, and Americana acts, food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and proceeds supporting restoration of the historic Printery building. Future concerts will be held on September 18 and October 9.

Saturday, August 15, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Heritage Square Park, Arroyo Grande
Celebrate the South County Historical Society's 50th Anniversary on Saturday at Heritage Square Park in Arroyo Grande. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy music by Crossroads, historical displays, and guest speakers. Food, beer and wine, and ice cream will be available for purchase. The event is free for all ages.

The Sta. Rita Hills Wine Alliance will host Wine & Fire 2026 from Thursday, August 13 to Sunday, August 16 in the Sta. Rita Hills wine region. Th event elebrates the 25th anniversary of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA with four days of wine tastings, food events, participating winery specials, chef pairings, and immersive experiences highlighting the region’s winemakers, vineyards, farmers, and cool-climate wines.

The Santa Barbara Elks Lodge #613 will host its Arts, Food & Music Festival on Saturday, from noon to 6 p.m. The free, all-ages, country-themed event will feature more than 30 craft vendors, Elks BBQ, two live music stages, kids' crafts, a marketplace, silent auctions, sweet treats, and much more.
