Jack's Helping Hand launches Morro Rock Beach wheelchair program for people with disabilities

Jack's Helping Hand launched its Beach Mobility for All program on Saturday, which provides new wheelchairs to make Morro Rock Beach more accessible for people with disabilities.

With help from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and the California State Coastal Conservancy, the non-profit organization is offering a new power beach wheelchair and a manual beach wheelchair.

According to the event page on Facebook, the Morro Bay Harbor Department, Container Stop and A.M. Sun Solar contributed to the program's grand opening.

Jack's Helping Hand provides assistance to children with cancer and special needs in San Luis Obispo County, according to the organization's website.
