John's Video Palace in Paso Robles, celebrated its 10 year anniversary.
To commemorate the milestone, members of the community can pick up gifts, eat candy, and find a movie or two to rent for the holiday season.
John Taft, the owner of the video store, says the one-on-one interactions with his customers make his store unique compared to buying movies online.
"10 years for any business is good, but a video store, especially a video store, you know, very rare," said Taft.
Taft also says the Atascadero store location will close down on Christmas Eve at 5 p.m.
John's Video Palace is located at 124 Niblick Road in Paso Robles and will celebrate the anniversary until 9 p.m Saturday.
